Fall 2023 Honors Contract: Intro to Illustration

For this Honors contract, I decided to expand my own artistic skills by deciding to create four complete landscapes and environments aside form the two that I was originally assigned. I really wanted to challenge myself with this assignment and try and improve my own understanding of atmospheric and general perspective when it comes to non human subjects. Looking through art books of famous movies and video games was helpful because it gave me a better understanding of how artists were able to simplify complex elements of environments and how they still render them in a readable and aesthetic way.
